Al Masaood Power Division participated in the Dubai International Boat Show 2025, held from 19–23 February at Dubai Harbour, one of the region’s most prominent maritime events. Bringing together global marine industry leaders, the exhibition served as an important platform to highlight the Division’s advanced technologies and reaffirm its position as a key provider of high-performance marine power solutions in the UAE, Bahrain, and Iraq.
During the event, Al Masaood Power Division showcased a range of innovative products from its global partners mtu, a Rolls-Royce solution, and Volvo Penta, both renowned for their engineering excellence and reliability in marine propulsion.
Among the key highlights was the mtu Yacht Propulsion Solution, a next-generation hybrid system integrating Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology, designed to meet stringent international emissions regulations while delivering enhanced performance and efficiency. The mtu 16V2000 M96L engine, known for producing 2600 bhp at 2450 rpm, also attracted strong interest for its suitability in high-speed marine applications such as yachts and patrol vessels.
Complementing this, Volvo Penta’s D6-440A Aquamatic Stern Drive was displayed, offering a compelling combination of power, fuel efficiency, and smooth maneuverability. Visitors also had the chance to engage with the Volvo Penta Joystick Simulator, experiencing firsthand the intuitive handling and precision control that define Volvo Penta’s approach to modern marine navigation.
