Al Masaood Power Division proudly observed the World Day for Safety and Health at Work with a dedicated event held at its ICAD II workshop. The initiative aimed to reinforce the Division’s ongoing commitment to building and sustaining a safe, healthy, and responsible workplace for all employees.
Bringing together staff from various departments, the event served as a platform to reflect on the importance of occupational safety and to promote the best practices across all operational levels. Through continuous training, awareness, and proactive engagement, the Division consistently upholds international safety standards while fostering a culture of care and accountability.
A key highlight of the day was the recognition of five team members who have made exceptional contributions to health and safety over the past year. These individuals were commended for their active efforts in creating a safer work environment—whether through identifying and mitigating risks, encouraging safe behaviours, or leading by example on the shop floor.
The event also featured open discussions on safety protocols, practical tips to prevent workplace hazards, and reminders of the shared responsibility each employee holds in maintaining a secure environment. Such activities serve to strengthen a collective mindset where safety is an integral part of daily operations.
