Al Masaood Power Division participated in the 49th edition of Middle East Energy (MEE) 2025, held from 7–9 April at the Dubai World Trade Centre, in collaboration with its long-standing global partner Volvo Penta. The exhibition served as a key platform to demonstrate the Division’s commitment to supporting the energy transition through innovative and sustainable power technologies.
At this year’s event, Al Masaood Power and Volvo Penta showcased the Battery Energy Storage Subsystem (BESS), a cutting-edge solution designed to support decarbonisation efforts in a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. Developed as part of Volvo Penta’s growing commitment to electrification, the subsystem offers a scalable and modular approach to energy storage, enabling high levels of flexibility for integration into various power system architectures.
The Battery Energy Storage Subsystem is engineered to deliver rapid charge and discharge cycles, making it particularly well-suited for applications with dynamic energy demands. It features high energy-density batteries, robust thermal management, and integrated safety systems, ensuring consistent performance, operational reliability, and extended lifecycle durability.
Key features include:
· Energy-dense battery packs are designed for high performance and compact installation.
· Modular and scalable configuration, allowing for tailored solutions based on customer requirements.
· Integrated Battery Management System (BMS) for enhanced safety, diagnostics, and control.
· Compatibility with both grid-connected and off-grid environments, making it ideal for hybrid energy systems, peak shaving, load shifting, and renewable energy integration.
The display at MEE 2025 attracted the attention of industry stakeholders, developers, and energy professionals, enabling productive discussions around how such technologies can accelerate the region’s clean energy ambitions and support more sustainable, efficient power solutions.
Through its participation at Middle East Energy 2025, Al Masaood Power Division continues to advance its strategic focus on decarbonisation, electrification, and digitalisation—driving real impact across sectors. The collaboration with Volvo Penta reflects a shared ambition to deliver future-ready, low-emission solutions that address the evolving needs of regional and global energy markets.
