A simple handshake sealed the business relationship between Al Masaood and Volvo Penta Sweden.
1975
First Volvo Penta service facility was opened in Abu Dhabi.
1978
Al Masaood forged a relationship with MTU Friedrichshafen Germany.
1982
Al Masaood and MTU Friedrichshafen signed the Official Distributor Agreement for the UAE.
1983
First Volvo Penta workshop was opened in the Marina Abu Dhabi.
1986
First Volvo Penta Sales and Aftersales facility was opened in Al Jadaf, Dubai.
1993
First MTU Sales and Aftersales facility was opened in Al Jadaf, Dubai.
1999
First MTU Workshop facility was opened in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi.

First Volvo Penta Spare Parts outlet was opened in Salam Street, Abu Dhabi.

A diesel engine Test Bench facility was opened in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi.

Al Masaood Power Division was certified for ISO 9001:2008 and OHSAS 18001:2007.

MTU Certified Training Centre was opened in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi.

Al Masaood and MTU Friedrichshafen signed the Distributor Agreement for the Kingdom of Bahrain.

First MTU Sales and Aftersales facility was opened in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
